My wife and I stayed at the Cristallo for three nights 24/03/04
to 27/03/04. I feel the price was reasonable at Euro 150
for a double room for that period. I have no complaints
about service or value for money, lets face it, how difficult
would it be to get the same deal in lets say London or even
Glasgow? Lets get something else straight, if you want false
staff and pre-programmed "Have a nice days etc."
GO TO AMERICA. However if you want to be around sincere
people who arent out to empty your wallet, GO TO ITALY.
What i would advise is to learn a few very basic words eg.
GRAZIE, BUONA SERA etc. and approach Italians first, I am
sure you will end up agreeing with me. Kilbirnie,

For the price, the hotel is well above
what it should be. It is conveniently located, easily accessible,
and clean! The amenities are not top notch -- but then again,
you're not paying top notch price! I've stayed in a plethora
of cheap hotels across Europe (hostels & hostals included)
and this is clearly above average for its star rating. Especially
when you book on-line and get a cheap rate. Toronto,

Stayed for a few days in summer of 2002.
We had a triple and the room was very clean and decently
sized. Beds were comfortable. Front desk staff was not the
most friendly or welcoming when we arrived (we had to wait
a while before they got around to helping us) but we did
arrive rather late at night. The next day the staff was
much better. The hotel was very close to the train station,
which was convenient. Our room was unfortunately near the
elevator and there was a lot of noise from some other guests
coming/going throughout the night. Otherwise our stay was
fine. Washington, DC
