all of your rooms contain private facilities i.e. a private
bathroom inside the room?
Yes all of the hotel’s rooms contain a private bathroom
for exclusive use by the occupants of that room. The bathroom
contains either a bathtub or shower and sometimes both...
Complimentary toiletries including soap, shampoo and shower
cap are provided free of charge. Soft towels and a Hairdryer
complete the facilities on offer in the bathrooms.

Cancelling/Modifying
a Previously Made Reservation?
Should you wish to cancel a reservation simply return to
the online booking system and click on "Cancel/Amend
Reservation" you will be prompted for your booking
reference number, surname and arrival date. Upon entering
these details it will then be possible to cancel the existing
reservation. NB to change an arrival date or reduce/extend
stay please cancel your existing reservation before making
a new one.
Do
all the rooms have a window with a view?
Yes, all of the hotel’s rooms contain either a front
view of the street or a view to the rear of the hotel.
Do
all the rooms have a Balcony or Terrace ?
No none of the rooms have a balcony or terrace.

what time can we check-in and out?
Check-In: after 2 pm.
Check-Out: before midday.
Can
we settle the bill on arrival?
No, bills are settled at check-out.
How
many floors are there in the building and do you have an
elevator (lift) in the building?
There are seven floors and 2 elevators.
Is
there a Telephone and TV in the rooms? Are there international
channels (satellite TV)?
There is a direct dial telephone and satellite TV in all
rooms.
Is
there air conditioning/heating in the rooms? Is there any
extra charge for this?
Self regulated air conditioning is included in the price.

How
do I get to the Hotel if arriving by train?
The Cristallo is located very near Milan's main station
which is where most international and domestic trains pull
in " main Stazione Centrale", northeast of the
city centre on Piazza Duca d'Aosta, at the hub of the metro
network on lines MM2 and MM3. Milan's other stations Garibaldi,
Lambrate, Porta Genova and Nord are used for smaller less
important domestic rail services.
How
do I get to the Hotel if arriving by bus?
International and long-distance buses arrive at and depart
from Piazza Castello, in front of the Castello Sforzesco.
Information and tickets are available from the Autostradale
bus office (tel 02.801.161) on the piazza, or Zani Viaggi
(tel 02.867.131), on the corner of Piazza Castello and Foro
Buonaparte.
How
do I get to the Hotel if arriving by car and do you have
parking?
The city is encircled by a multi-laned toll road, the Tangenzianale,
from which there are links onto the autostradas for Venice
and Turin (A4), Genoa (A7), and the "Autostrada del
Sole" (A1) for Bologna, Florence, Rome and the south.
NB the hotel can organise parking in a nearby garage –
a small supplement will be payable for this service.
How do you get to
the hotel from main railway station Stazione Centrale?
The main train station is only 200 metres from the Hotel
Cristallo. When you get off the train take the left hand
exit and proceed directly ahead. Take the street between
the Hotel Michelangelo and the Starhotel Anderson - this
is via Scarlatti. Proceed 1 block and the Cristallo is on
the left hand side.
How
do I get to Milan City Center from Linate Airport?
Linate (tel 02.7485.2200), is just 7km from the city centre:
special airport buses connect it with the air terminal on
Piazza Luigi di Savoia, on the east side of Stazione Centrale
i.e. the side where the Hotel Cristallo is Located. Ordinary
ATM urban transport buses also run every ten minutes from
5.30am until around midnight between Linate and Piazza San
Babila in the city centre, journey time 20 minutes. There
is also a twice-daily connecting bus service between Linate
and Malpensa, a 75 minute journey.
How
do I Get to Milan City Center from Malpensa Airport?
Malpensa (tel 02.7485.2200), 50km northeast of the city
is connected by direct bus with the Stazione Centrale and
by the new FNME train, the Malpensa Express (tel 02.27.723,
www.malpensaexpress.com), with Milano Nord (the early morning
and late evening services are replaced by a bus from Via
Leopardi, just to the left of the station i.e. on the Eastern
Side conveniently where the Hotel Cristallo is Located).
How
do I Get to Milan City Center from Orio al Serio (Bergamo)
Airport?
A frequent bus service 9every 40 minutes approximately)
departs from the airport for Milano (Piazza Luigi di Savoia,
on the east side of Stazione Centrale) NB the Hotel Cristallo
is located on the eastern side of the Stazione Centrale
making it the ideal choice for those arriving by air at
one of Milan's 3 airports.
Is
breakfast included in the Room Rate?
Yes, a continental buffet breakfast is included in the room
rate. You may help yourself to an array of breakfast items
including ham, boiled eggs, fresh fruit, cereals, fresh
milk, yoghurt, assorted croissants, fresh bread, rolls,
butter, marmelade, jams, fresh fruit juices, teas, coffees
and cappuccino.
Does the Hotel have
a Meeting Room?
Yes the hotel has a small meeting room suitable for meetings
of not more than 20 people theatre style.
Does
the hotel have a restaurant?
No, the Cristallo does not have a Restaurant but our concierge
will be happy to suggest one of the many trattorias, restaurants
or pizzerias located in the surrounding areas. A new award
winning self service restaurant "Brek" is located
only a few minutes from the Hotel Cristallo and is very
popular with businessmen and tourists alike.
Is
there disabled access and facilities for the handicapped?
The hotel allows partial access for the disabled although
the absence of a ramp at the hotels entrance makes initial
access to the hotel quite difficulty if unaided.
Does
the hotel have internet access?
Yes, there are internet ports in the rooms for use via your
own laptop however, at present the hotel do not have a public
internet point. Only a few minutes walk from the Hotel there
is a large high speed internet cafe "Grazie Internet
Cafe" with over 50 PCs open early till late.
What
are the hours of room service and is breakfast in your room
possible?
Room service is from 07:00 until 22:00 and yes breakfast
in your room is possible although a small supplement will
apply.
When
are you open?
The Hotel Cristallo is open all year every day except Christmas
and New year i.e. hotel closes for the festive period usually
from 23 December to 6 January inclusive.
How
far is the Duomo? (shopping and cultural centre of Milan)
The Duomo is 4 stops away from the Cristallo by Metro Line
3 (the yellow line) Milan's most modern line. Attractions
near the Duomo include La Scala Theatre, Via Montenapoleone
and Large Department Stores.
How
far is the San Siro?
Located 5km from the Hotel Cristallo the San Siro can be
reached by first taking the Metro Line 3 (yellow line) change
at Duomo (4 stops away) and take the underground line MM1(red)
in direction Molino Dorino, get out at the stop LOTTO. From
there you will see the buses which bring you directly to
the stadium, otherwise follow the crowd and get there on
foot, which takes approximately 15 minutes
Can
the Hotel provide Football Tickets for AC Milan or Inter
Games?
This service is strictly available for those guests of the
Hotel Cristallo and cannot be guaranteed. The Hotel will
endeavour to secure tickets for its' guests but these are
subject to availability.
How
do reach the Trade Fair Exhibition Centre in Milan ?
Located 5km from the Hotel Cristallo the old exhibition
centre "Fieramilanocity" can be reached by first
taking the Metro Line 3 (yellow line) change at Duomo (4
stops away) and take the underground line MM1(red) in direction
Fiera Amendola, From there you can walk 4 minutes to the
exhibition centre - Total Journey Time is 25 minutes. NB
To reach the new Exhibition Centre "FieraMilano - Rho"
do exactly as above except stay on the Metro until the stop
"Fiera Rho" from there follow the crowds to the
new exhibition centre - total journey time from the Cristallo
Hotel is 35-40 minutes.
